If you are driving, start from Surabaya, the capital of East Java. Take the Highway 1 (Jalan Raya Pantura) and head east towards Banyuwangi. This route will take approximately 8-10 hours depending on traffic. Once you reach Banyuwangi, continue to follow the signs to Pesanggaran. Sukamade Beach is located in Dusun Sukamande, Sarongan. From Pesanggaran, you will need to take a smaller road towards Sukamade Beach. The last part of the journey involves driving through a forested area, and the road can be rough. It's advisable to use a 4WD vehicle for this section.
