    If you are in the central area of Makassar, start at the iconic Losari Beach. Head southeast along the coastline towards Jl. Ujung Pandang. Continue straight for about 1 kilometer until you reach the intersection with Jl. Kapt. Rasyid. Turn left onto Jl. Kapt. Rasyid and walk for about 500 meters. You will see Benteng Gerbang Jumpandang on your right at Jl. Ujung Pandang No.2.

    Public Transport (Angkot)

    From the central area, locate an Angkot (public minibus) heading towards Ujung Pandang. Board the Angkot and pay the fare (usually around 5,000 IDR). Inform the driver that you want to get off at Jl. Ujung Pandang. The ride will take about 15-20 minutes depending on traffic. Once you arrive, walk towards Jl. Ujung Pandang No.2, where Benteng Gerbang Jumpandang is located.

    Biking

    If you prefer biking, you can rent a bicycle from one of the rental shops near Losari Beach. Head southeast along the coast and then turn onto Jl. Kapt. Rasyid.
