    If you are starting from Ternate, drive south towards the port of Ternate. This journey takes approximately 2 hours. Once you reach the port, look for the ferry terminal. You will need to purchase a ticket for a ferry to Sanana on the Sula Islands, which costs around IDR 50,000 to IDR 100,000 depending on the class of the ferry. The ferry ride to Sanana takes about 3-4 hours.

    Upon arriving in Sanana, you will need to take a local boat to Mangoli Island. The local boats operate from the Sanana port and typically leave when there are enough passengers. The fare is around IDR 30,000. The boat ride to Mangoli Island will take approximately 1 hour.

    If you don’t have access to a car, you can take a public minibus from Ternate to the port of Ternate. After reaching the port, you can follow the same steps as above regarding the ferry to Sanana and the local boat to Mangoli Island. The minibus fare to the port is around IDR 10,000.
