Car
If you are traveling by car from Ternate, first take the ferry from Ternate to Sofifi, which costs approximately IDR 50,000 per person. Once you reach Sofifi, drive towards Jailolo, which is about a 1.5-hour drive away. Follow the main road (which is generally well-marked) leading you directly to Jailolo. Make sure to keep an eye out for signs pointing towards Idamdehe, as this is the area you will be heading to.
Public Transportation
From Ternate, take a public minibus (angkot) to Sofifi. The fare is about IDR 20,000 per person. After reaching Sofifi, board a local bus or shared taxi that goes to Jailolo. The bus ride will take approximately 1.5 hours and costs around IDR 30,000. Ensure you confirm with the driver that they are heading to Jailolo, specifically to Idamdehe, as there may be multiple stops along the way.
Ferry
If you are coming from the mainland of North Maluku or nearby islands, you may need to take a ferry to Ternate first. Ferries operate regularly, and the fare varies depending on your starting location. Once you arrive in Ternate, follow the aforementioned instructions to reach Jailolo.
