My husband and I have just returned from a 2-day, 1-night tour in the jungle. We were accompanied by Ahmed and Coco, who were fantastic guides due to their availability, attention to our needs, cheerfulness, and professionalism they demonstrated. The tour is strenuous for those over 50 years old like us; it requires good physical fitness, but "slowly but surely" it is possible to do it, and it is absolutely worth the effort. We saw numerous orangutans, and a couple even crossed our path on the trail; it was very exciting. The night by the river is well organized; you sleep comfortably, there is even a tented toilet, and the food served at the table was excellent and plentiful. The return trip by boat on the river was very fun; you need to be prepared to get completely wet. Despite the excessive number of tourists, we absolutely recommend this experience and this tour operator. Thank you!! Sonia & Davide

Our guide was Erwin, who picked us up from our hotel on the edge of Medan. He was excellent and made the day. He drove well, was very friendly and open and we learnt much about life in Indonesia from him. The tour covered all the main sights, mosque, Hindu temple, Buddhist/Chinese folk religion temple, Tip Top restaurant, Tjong Fie’s mansion and the fusion architecture Catholic Church. Very good lunch at a good local restaurant that Erwin knew. We skipped the shopping mall. Excellent guide, excellent day. But be aware, there isn’t much else in Medan to do, strictly a one day only city.
