Car
If you are traveling by car, start your journey from Tual City. Head southeast on Jalan Raya Tual - Dullah, following the signs to Pulau-Pulau Kur. After approximately 30 km, you will reach the ferry terminal at Dullah. Here, you will need to take a ferry to Pulau-Pulau Kur. The ferry ride takes about 1 hour and costs around IDR 50,000 per person. Once you arrive at Pulau-Pulau Kur, continue driving or hire a local transportation service to reach Kaimer, which is approximately 10 km from the ferry terminal.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, take a minibus from Tual City to the Dullah ferry terminal. Buses depart frequently, and the fare is approximately IDR 20,000. Once at the ferry terminal, purchase a ticket for the ferry to Pulau-Pulau Kur (costing around IDR 50,000). After disembarking, you can find local transport options like ojeks (motorcycle taxis) to take you to Kaimer, which is about 10 km away. Be sure to negotiate the fare beforehand, typically around IDR 30,000.
Combination of Car and Ferry
If you have access to a car but prefer not to drive all the way to the ferry terminal, you can park at a secure lot at the Dullah ferry terminal. After parking, take the ferry to Pulau-Pulau Kur as mentioned above. Once on the island, you can rent a motorbike or hire a local taxi to reach Kaimer. Rental rates for motorbikes are about IDR 75,000 per day.
