    If you are driving to Kupa Kupa Beach, start from the center of Ternate. Drive northeast on Jl. Soekarno Hatta, then take a left onto Jl. Pertamina Tobelo Selatan. Continue straight for approximately 32 kilometers until you reach Kupa Kupa Beach. There is parking available near the beach, but be aware that it may require a small fee depending on the time of year.

    Public Transportation

    To reach Kupa Kupa Beach using public transportation, take a local minibus (angkot) from Ternate to Tobelo, which typically departs from the main bus station. The fare is around IDR 50,000. Once you arrive in Tobelo, you can hire a motorbike taxi (ojek) to take you directly to Kupa Kupa Beach for approximately IDR 20,000. Be sure to confirm the fare before the ride.

    Combination of Public Transport and Walking

    From Ternate, catch a ferry to the nearby island of Halmahera, which costs around IDR 70,000. After arriving at the dock, take a local angkot to Tobelo. Upon reaching Tobelo, walk or take an ojek the remaining distance to Kupa Kupa Beach, which is about 10 kilometers from the center of Tobelo.
