Car
If you're starting from Ternate, drive south towards the city of Sofifi. The journey will take about 2 hours and covers approximately 60 kilometers. Follow the signs to Sofifi, and once you reach the city, continue to the harbor. From the harbor, you will need to take a ferry to Pulau Mohak. Make sure to check the ferry schedule in advance, as it may vary. The ferry ride will take approximately 1-2 hours.
Public Transportation (Bus)
From Ternate, take a public bus heading to Sofifi. The bus ride will take around 2 hours and costs approximately IDR 30,000. Once you arrive in Sofifi, head to the ferry terminal. Look for ferries heading to Pulau Mohak. Be sure to check the ferry schedule as it can change. The ferry journey will take about 1-2 hours.
Ferry
After arriving at the Sofifi harbor, purchase your ferry ticket to Pulau Mohak. Ferry tickets usually range from IDR 50,000 to IDR 100,000 depending on the ferry service. The ferry ride will take approximately 1-2 hours, so be prepared for a scenic journey across the waters. Ensure you have your ticket ready as you board.
Walking
