Sisingamangaraja and turn onto Jl. Brigjend Katamso. You will find Zoo Medan on your right. There is usually parking available near the entrance.

Public Transportation - Bus

From various points in Medan, you can take a local bus heading towards the downtown area. Look for buses that stop at Jl. Sisingamangaraja. Once you get off, walk towards Jl. Brigjend Katamso and continue walking until you reach the zoo's entrance. The bus fare is approximately IDR 5,000 to IDR 10,000.
