Getting There

Car
If you're driving from Jayapura, head west on the Trans-Papua highway towards Biak Numfor Regency. The journey is approximately 8 to 10 hours (about 400 kilometers). Once you reach the town of Biak, follow the signs to Ainando Padaido. Continue along the coastal road until you reach the Karabai area. Park your car at a designated parking area in Karabai.

Public Transportation (Bus)
From Jayapura, take a public bus to Biak. The bus ride can take around 10-12 hours, so be prepared for a long journey. Once you arrive in Biak, you can either take a local taxi or a bemo (shared minivan) to get to the Ainando Padaido area. Inform the driver that you want to go to Karabai. The fare should be around IDR 50,000 to IDR 100,000 depending on the distance.

After reaching Karabai, you will need to take a boat to Pakriki Island. Look for local fishers or tour operators offering boat rides. The boat trip may take around 30 minutes.
