Getting There

  • Car

If you have a rental car or your own vehicle, start from Biak town. Head northeast on Jl. Raya Biak towards Jl. Yos Sudarso. Continue straight for about 10 km until you reach the intersection at Warsa. Turn left onto Jl. Warsa and follow it for another 15 km until you reach a small village called Inswanbesi. The waterfall is approximately 2 km from the village center. Look for local signage or ask villagers for directions to Wafsarak Waterfall (6W5F+C52). Parking is available near the entrance.

  • Public Transportation

From Biak, take a local minibus or 'angkot' that travels towards Warsa. The fare should be around IDR 20,000. Inform the driver that you wish to stop at Inswanbesi. Once you arrive in Inswanbesi, you may need to hire a local ojek (motorcycle taxi) to take you the remaining 2 km to Wafsarak Waterfall. The ojek fare can range from IDR 15,000 to IDR 30,000 depending on negotiation.

  • Hiking

If you're adventurous and prefer to hike, you can walk from Inswanbesi to the waterfall. The trail is well-trodden but can be muddy and uneven, especially during the rainy season. Ensure you wear good hiking shoes, and it will take approximately 30-40 minutes to reach the waterfall on foot. Bring water and snacks for the journey.
