Car
If you're traveling by car to PAPUA INDONESIA located at FQ87+PGR, Watiaro, Benuki, Mamberamo Raya Regency, Papua 98262, you should first navigate to the nearest major town, which is Mamberamo Raya. From there, head southeast on the main road (Jalan Trans Papua) until you reach the sign for Benuki. Turn onto the road that leads towards Watiaro. Continue on this road for about 30 kilometers until you reach the coordinates FQ87+PGR. Make sure to refuel and check your vehicle as the roads can be challenging and there may not be many services along the way.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, take a bus or minivan from Jayapura to Mamberamo Raya. The journey can take several hours, so be prepared for a long trip. Once you arrive in Mamberamo Raya, you may need to take a local ojek (motorcycle taxi) or a shared truck to get to Watiaro. Make sure to confirm the final drop-off location with the driver, aiming for FQ87+PGR in Watiaro. Costs for the bus will vary, but expect to pay around IDR 100,000 to 200,000 depending on the operator. The ojek ride can cost around IDR 50,000 to 100,000.
Taxi
If you prefer a more direct route, consider hiring a taxi from Mamberamo Raya. Make sure to agree on a fare before starting your journey to PAPUA INDONESIA. The taxi will take you directly to FQ87+PGR. This option is more expensive, typically costing around IDR 300,000 to 500,000, but it offers convenience and comfort. Confirm the driver’s understanding of your destination prior to departure.
