Getting There

  • Car

    If you're driving from Pulau Bunaken, take a boat back to Manado first. The nearest port is in the village of Bunaken, where you can arrange for a boat ride. Once you reach Manado, head south on Jl. Raya Manado-Tomohon. Follow the signs for Tomohon, and continue for approximately 30 minutes until you reach the area of Lahendong. You will see signs for Danau Linow. Turn onto the road that leads to the lake, which will be a short drive from the main road.

  • Public Transportation

    From Pulau Bunaken, take a boat back to Manado. Once in Manado, head to the nearest public transport terminal and catch a minibus (angkot) heading to Tomohon. Make sure to tell the driver that you want to go to Danau Linow. The minibus ride will take about 45 minutes. Once you arrive in Tomohon, you may need to take a motorcycle taxi (ojek) or a local taxi to reach Danau Linow, as public transport to the lake might be limited.
