Car Rental
If you are starting your journey from Sorong, rent a car to get to the harbor. The drive to the harbor takes about 1.5 hours. From Sorong, head to the 'Pelabuhan Rakyat' (People's Port). Once at the port, you will need to purchase a ticket for a speedboat to Piaynemo. The ticket price ranges from IDR 1,500,000 to IDR 2,000,000 per person for a round trip.
Public Transportation
From Sorong, take a local minibus or 'angkot' to the harbor. The fare is around IDR 30,000. Once you arrive at the harbor, purchase a ticket for a speedboat to Piaynemo. The round trip price is between IDR 1,500,000 to IDR 2,000,000 per person. The speedboat ride takes approximately 2-3 hours.
Speedboat Transfer
Upon reaching the harbor in Waisai, board a speedboat heading to Piaynemo. Make sure to check the departure times as they may vary. The journey will take roughly 30-45 minutes. Ensure you have made arrangements ahead of time for your return trip, as speedboat schedules can fill up quickly.
Entry Fees
Once you arrive at Piaynemo, be prepared for an entry fee of approximately IDR 100,000 per person to access the area. This fee helps in maintaining the natural beauty and conservation efforts of the site.
