  If you are traveling by car, start your journey from Sorong, the nearest major city. Head east on Jalan Raya Sorong-Kaimana (also known as Jalan Trans Papua) for approximately 2 hours (about 90 kilometers) until you reach the port of Waisai. Once in Waisai, you can find local boat services that operate to Pulau Penemu. The boat ride to Star Lagoon will take approximately 30-45 minutes, depending on sea conditions. Ensure to confirm the schedule of the boat services, as they can vary.

• Public Transportation

  For those opting for public transport, start your journey in Sorong. Take a public minivan or bus to Waisai, which is about a 2-hour journey. Upon arrival in Waisai, proceed to the port area where you can catch a local boat to Pulau Penemu. You should allocate around 30-45 minutes for the boat ride to reach Star Lagoon. Be sure to check the departure times for the boats to ensure you can get to the lagoon.
