Car
If you are driving from Banjarmasin, head east on Jalan Ahmad Yani towards Jalan S. Parman. Continue on Jalan S. Parman until you reach the intersection with Jalan Perintis Kemerdekaan. Turn left onto Jalan Perintis Kemerdekaan and follow it. After approximately 40 km, take the exit towards Pangkalan Bun. Continue on Jalan Raya Pangkalan Bun until you reach Kumai. Once in Kumai, follow signs to Jl. H. Moh. Idris. The Orangutan Tour office is located at Jl. H. Moh. Idris No.483, RT.06/RW.02.

From Banjarmasin, take a bus to Pangkalan Bun. Buses leave frequently from the Banjarmasin bus terminal. The journey will take approximately 8-10 hours, so be prepared for a long ride. Once you arrive in Pangkalan Bun, take a local minivan (angkot) or taxi to Kumai. The fare for the minivan should be around IDR 20,000. In Kumai, ask for Jl. H. Moh. Idris, where the Orangutan Tour office is located at No.483.
