Car
If you are driving from Jayapura, take the Trans Papua Highway. Head southeast from Jayapura towards the town of Sentani. Once in Sentani, continue on the highway for approximately 50 km until you reach the junction for Ebungfau. Turn left at the junction, following signs towards Atabar. After approximately 15 km, you will reach Danau Emfote, located at 8GQQ+MV4. Ensure your vehicle has enough fuel, as gas stations may be sparse.

From Jayapura, you can take a bus heading towards Sentani. The bus terminal in Jayapura is located near the center of the city. Once in Sentani, you will need to transfer to a minibus that goes to Ebungfau. The minibus will drop you off at the junction for Atabar. From there, you can either walk or hire a local ojek (motorcycle taxi) to take you the remaining 15 km to Danau Emfote.
