Local know-how to help you travel smarter and make the most of every moment.
Car
If you are traveling by car, start from the city of Biak. Head northwest on Jl. Yos Sudarso toward Jl. Raya. Continue driving for about 30 kilometers until you reach the small village of Warsa. Look for the signs directing you toward Wafsarak Waterfall, which is located near Inswanbesi. The last segment of the journey may require navigating along local roads that can be unpaved or bumpy. Ensure your vehicle is suitable for this terrain. Parking is available near the waterfall.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, take a minibus or shared taxi from Biak to the town of Warsa. These usually depart from the main terminal in Biak. The fare should be relatively inexpensive, typically around IDR 20,000-50,000 (about $1-4). Once you arrive in Warsa, you can hire a local ojek (motorcycle taxi) to take you to Wafsarak Waterfall. The ojek ride will cost around IDR 10,000-30,000 ($0.70-2). Make sure to negotiate the fare before starting your journey.
