    If you're starting your journey from Jayapura, drive southeast on the Trans Papua Highway (Route 1) towards Sentani. After approximately 45 kilometers, take the exit toward Wamena. Continue on the road for about 130 kilometers until you reach Wamena. From Wamena, follow the signs to Pegunungan Bintang Regency, which will direct you towards the Bakwalim Yub area. The last stretch is a bit rough, so be prepared for unpaved roads. Ensure your vehicle is suitable for off-road conditions.

    From Jayapura, take a public minibus (angkot) to Sentani. The fare is around IDR 30,000. Once in Sentani, board a bus to Wamena, which costs approximately IDR 200,000 and takes around 1.5 to 2 hours. Upon arriving in Wamena, you can hire a local taxi or a motorcycle taxi (ojek) to reach the Bakwalim Yub area. Expect to pay around IDR 50,000 for this last leg of the journey.
