Getting there

Car

If you are driving from Kendari, the capital of Southeast Sulawesi, head north on the Trans Sulawesi highway (Route 1). The drive to Taipa Beach will take approximately 3 hours. Follow the signs towards North Konawe Regency. Once you reach the intersection near the town of Unaaha, take the road towards Lembo. Continue on this road until you reach the coordinates 79CV+52R. Look for signs indicating Taipa Beach, which will lead you down the unnamed road towards the beach.

Public Transportation

From Kendari, you can take a bus or minibus to North Konawe. Head to the main bus terminal and look for buses heading towards the cities of Unaaha or Lembo. The fare is usually around IDR 30,000 - IDR 50,000 and the journey will take about 3-4 hours. Once you arrive in Lembo, you may need to take a local taxi or ojek (motorcycle taxi) to reach Taipa Beach. The taxi fare from Lembo to the beach is approximately IDR 20,000 - IDR 30,000.

Ride-hailing Services

For a more comfortable option, you can use ride-hailing apps like Gojek or Grab, available in Kendari. You can book a ride directly to Taipa Beach.
