Getting There

  • Car

    If you are driving, head towards Bulukumba Regency. From Makassar, take the Trans Sulawesi Highway (Route 3) heading south. After approximately 150 kilometers, you will reach the town of Bulukumba. Once in Bulukumba, follow the signs to Bontobahari. Continue on the main road until you reach Darubiah, then navigate to the coordinates CFF5+VQ2. There is parking available near the beach.

  • Public Transportation

    Take a bus from Makassar to Bulukumba. Buses leave regularly from the central bus terminal. The journey takes about 3-4 hours and costs around IDR 50,000. Upon arrival in Bulukumba, you can hire a local taxi or an ojek (motorcycle taxi) to take you to Pantai Marumasa. Make sure to show the driver the coordinates CFF5+VQ2 or ask for directions to Darubiah. The taxi fare should be around IDR 30,000 to 50,000.

  • Motorbike Rental

    For a more adventurous option, consider renting a motorbike in Bulukumba. Several rental shops are available near the bus terminal. Rental prices range from IDR 75,000 to 100,000 per day.
