If you are starting from Makassar, drive south on the Trans Sulawesi Highway (Route 1) for approximately 150 kilometers. Follow the signs towards Bulukumba. Once you reach the Bulukumba town area, continue to Bontobahari. Turn onto Jalan Pantai Panrangluhu and follow the road until you reach the beach. Please note that there may be a small parking fee at the beach.

From the Makassar city center, head to the Mall Trans Studio Makassar bus terminal. Look for buses heading to Bulukumba. The journey takes about 3-4 hours, and the fare is approximately IDR 50,000-70,000. Once you arrive at Bulukumba, you can take a local minibus or ojek (motorcycle taxi) to Bontobahari, which will take around 30-45 minutes depending on traffic. The fare for the minibus is about IDR 20,000, while an ojek might cost you around IDR 50,000-70,000.

From the Bulukumba bus terminal, you can take a shared taxi (angkot) heading towards Bontobahari. The shared taxi will take you directly to the area near Pantai Panrangluhu.
