If you are driving from central Ubud, head southwest on Jalan Raya Ubud. Continue straight for about 3 km until you reach the junction with Jalan Raya Sayan. Turn right onto Jalan Raya Sayan and follow this road for about 4 km. Then, turn left onto Jalan Raya Penestanan. After a short distance, turn right onto Jalan Taman Ayun. Follow this road until you see signs for Gala-Gala Underground House. There is parking available on-site, but it may incur a small fee.

From Ubud, you can take a 'bemo' (shared minibus) heading towards Nusa Penida. You will need to catch a bemo from the local bemo terminal at Ubud Market.
