Getting There

• Car

  To reach Klungkung Royal Palace by car from Ubud, start by heading south on Jalan Raya Ubud. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Jalan Raya Mas. Turn right onto Jalan Raya Mas and proceed until you reach the T-junction. Turn left onto Jalan Raya Sawa. Follow this road for approximately 15 kilometers. Keep an eye out for road signs indicating 'Klungkung' or 'Semarapura'. After entering Klungkung, look for Jalan Diponegoro. The Klungkung Royal Palace will be on your right. Parking is available nearby, but it may incur a small fee.

  From Ubud, locate a Bemo (shared minivan) heading towards Klungkung at the Ubud market or main road. The fare is typically around IDR 20,000 to IDR 30,000. Once you arrive at Klungkung, ask the driver to drop you off at the Klungkung Royal Palace or follow the signs toward Jalan Diponegoro.
