Getting There

• Car

  From Ubud, head southeast on Jl. Raya Ubud toward Jl. Monkey Forest. Continue straight onto Jl. Raya Andong and follow until you reach the intersection with Jl. Bypass Ngurah Rai. Take a left onto Jl. Bypass Ngurah Rai and continue for approximately 15 kilometers. Look for signs for Klungkung and merge onto Jl. Prof. Dr. Ida Bagus Mantra. Continue along this road until you reach the town of Klungkung. Once in Klungkung, follow road signs to 'Puputan Klungkung Monument', which is located at FC83+397, Central Semarapura. Parking is available nearby, but be cautious of parking fees, which may vary.

• Public Transportation (Bus)

  From Ubud, head to the Ubud Central Bus Station located at Jl. Raya Ubud. Catch a bus heading towards Klungkung; these buses often leave every 30 minutes. The bus ride will take approximately 1 to 1.5 hours. Once you arrive at the Klungkung bus terminal, exit the bus and ask for directions to Puputan Klungkung Monument. It is about a 15-minute walk from the bus terminal. Follow Jl. Alun-Alun and look for signs directing you to the monument. Note that bus fare to Klungkung is usually around IDR 30,000.

  You can book a taxi or use a ride-sharing app from Ubud directly to Puputan Klungkung Monument.
