Getting There

• Car

  If you are traveling by car, start your journey from any location in West Java and head towards Jakarta. Use the Jakarta Outer Ring Road (JORR) for a smoother route if you are coming from the southern regions like Bandung. Once you reach the city center, navigate to Jl. Kebon Melati. The Selamat Datang Monument is located at the intersection of Jl. Kebon Melati and Jl. Thamrin. Look for the prominent fountain and the two golden statues. Parking may be available in nearby parking lots, but be prepared to pay a fee that typically ranges from IDR 5,000 to IDR 20,000 per hour depending on the location.

  For those using public transportation, take a train from various stations in West Java to Jakarta's Gambir Station. From Gambir, you can take a taxi or a ride-hailing service (like Gojek or Grab) directly to Selamat Datang Monument. The taxi ride should cost around IDR 30,000 to IDR 50,000 depending on traffic.
