If you are renting a car, start your journey from Mataram, the capital of West Nusa Tenggara. Take the Jalan Raya Mataram - Praya road (Route 1) towards Praya. After about 20 kilometers, follow signs to Montong Ajan. Upon entering Montong Ajan, follow the signs towards Nambung Beach. The beach is approximately 10 kilometers from Montong Ajan. Parking is available near the beach entrance, and you may need to pay a small parking fee of around IDR 5,000.

To reach Nambung Beach by public transport, take a bus from Mataram to Praya. Buses leave frequently from the central bus terminal in Mataram. The journey takes about 1 hour and costs around IDR 30,000. Once in Praya, you can take a local minibus (angkot) heading to Montong Ajan. After reaching Montong Ajan, you will need to take a motorcycle taxi (ojek) for the final stretch to Nambung Beach, which should cost about IDR 15,000. Ensure you confirm the fare before starting the ride.
