Car
If you are driving from Mataram, take the Lombok Ring Road (Jalan Raya Mataram - Praya) heading north. Follow the signs for Tanjung, and then continue on to Senaru. The journey takes approximately 2 hours, covering about 60 km. After reaching Senaru village, follow the signs for Senaru Crater Rim, which is about 15 minutes from the village center. Be prepared for a winding road as you ascend towards the crater rim.

To reach Senaru Crater Rim via public transportation from Mataram, take a 'bemo' (local minivan) or a bus to Tanjung. You can find bemos departing from the main terminal in Mataram. The fare is around IDR 25,000 and the ride will take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours. Once in Tanjung, hire a local ojek (motorbike taxi) or arrange a car to take you to Senaru Crater Rim, which is about a 30-minute ride. The ojek fare should be around IDR 50,000 to IDR 100,000 depending on your negotiation.
