Getting There

Walking
If you are starting from the Yogyakarta Tugu Railway Station, exit the station and head south on Jalan A.M. Sangaji. Walk straight until you reach the intersection with Jalan Pahlawan. Turn left onto Jalan Pahlawan and continue walking until you reach the intersection with Jalan Magelang. From there, take a right onto Jalan Magelang and walk until you reach the bus stop 'Jalan Magelang - Tamantirto'. Take the bus that goes to Kasihan and get off at the 'Tamantirto' stop. From there, walk south on Jalan Ngestiwidi for about 10 minutes. Masjid Al-muharram will be on your left.

Public Transport (Bus)
From Malioboro, walk to the nearest bus stop and catch an 'Angkot' (minibus) heading towards the Kasihan area. You can ask the driver to let you know when to get off at the 'Tamantirto' stop. After getting off, walk south on Jalan Ngestiwidi for about 10 minutes. You will find Masjid Al-muharram on your left side.

If you rent a bicycle in Yogyakarta, start from the city center and head south towards Jalan Pahlawan. Continue on this road until you reach Jalan Magelang. Turn right and follow the road to the Kasihan area. Once you reach the 'Tamantirto' area, look for the signs toward Jalan Ngestiwidi. Follow Jalan Ngestiwidi for about 10 minutes, and you will see Masjid Al-muharram on your left.
