From Malioboro Street, head south towards Jl. Margo Mulyo. Continue walking straight until you reach the intersection with Jl. Prawirotaman. Turn left onto Jl. Prawirotaman and continue walking until you reach Jl. Margo Mulyo. The 1 March 1949 Monument is located on the right side at Jl. Margo Mulyo No.6, Ngupasan, Kec. Gondomanan, Yogyakarta. The total walking distance is approximately 1 kilometer and should take around 15-20 minutes.

Public Transportation (Trans Jogja Bus)
