Getting There

  • Walking

    From Malioboro Street, head south towards Jl. Jend. Sudirman. Walk straight along Malioboro Street until you reach the intersection with Jl. Jend. Sudirman. Turn left onto Jl. Jend. Sudirman and continue walking for about 1 kilometer. You will see the Yogyakarta Monument (Tugu Yogyakarta) on your right. It is a tall white monument with a gold top, located at the busy roundabout.

    If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle from one of the many rental shops along Malioboro Street. Once you have your bike, ride towards Jl. Jend. Sudirman by heading south on Malioboro Street. After about 1 kilometer, you will reach the roundabout where Yogyakarta Monument is located.
