Walking
If you are starting from downtown Ames, head east on Main Street towards 5th Street. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Lincoln Way. Turn right onto Lincoln Way and walk for about 0.5 miles. You will pass several shops and cafes along the way. After crossing the intersection with 13th Street, continue on Lincoln Way for another 0.3 miles. Look for the signs leading to Iowa State University. Once you reach the entrance of the university, follow the signs to the Farm House Museum located at 601 Farm House Ln. The museum will be on your right after walking about 0.2 miles into the campus.
