Bus
From anywhere in Ames, locate the CyRide bus stop nearest to you. Board the Orange Route bus heading towards Iowa State University. Stay on the bus for approximately 30 minutes until you reach the Ames Transit Agency station. Transfer to the #11 bus towards Des Moines. After about 45 minutes, get off at the 5th and Locust stop in downtown Des Moines. From there, walk east on Locust Street for about 2 blocks until you reach 100 Locust St, the World Food Prize Hall of Laureates.

If you prefer cycling, rent a bike from one of the bike-share stations in Ames. Start from the center of Ames and head south on Lincoln Way towards the outskirts of town. Continue on the bike path that leads directly to the south until you reach the intersection with US-69. Follow the bike path along US-69 for about 10 miles heading towards Des Moines. Upon entering Des Moines, follow the bike lanes to the downtown area and navigate to 100 Locust St, where the World Food Prize Hall of Laureates is located.

Start your journey by going south on Main Street for about 5 miles until you reach the outskirts of Des Moines. From there, take a right onto Locust Street and continue walking east for about 3 more miles. The World Food Prize Hall of Laureates will be on your left at 100 Locust St. Note: This walk is quite long (approximately 8 miles total) and may take several hours, so plan accordingly and wear comfortable shoes.
