If you are starting from the Des Moines Public Library located at 1000 Grand Ave, walk south on Grand Ave toward 10th St. Turn left onto 10th St and proceed east for three blocks. You will find the entrance to the Sky Walk on your right, just past the Wells Fargo buildings.

From the Iowa State Capitol, exit the Capitol grounds and head south on E 14th St. Continue on E 14th St until you reach Grand Ave, then turn left. Walk east on Grand Ave for about four blocks. The entrance to the Sky Walk will be on your left, near the intersection with 10th St.
