Walking
If you're starting from the Downtown area, head west on Locust Street until you reach the intersection with 10th Street. Turn left (south) onto 10th Street and continue for two blocks until you reach the intersection with W River Drive. Turn right (west) on W River Drive. You will find Rotary Riverwalk Park at 821 W River Dr, approximately 5 minutes from the center of Downtown.
Public Transportation - Bus
To reach Rotary Riverwalk Park via bus, locate the nearest bus stop in Downtown Des Moines. Check the DART transit schedule for Route 60 (or another route heading towards the Riverwalk). Board the bus and ride it to the 'Waterfront' stop. Once you disembark, walk east along W River Drive for about 5 minutes to reach the park at 821 W River Dr.
Biking
If you prefer to bike, you can rent a bike from one of the local bike-share programs in Downtown Des Moines. Start by heading west on Locust Street, then turn left onto 10th Street. Continue south on 10th Street until you reach W River Drive. Turn right and bike along the scenic route to Rotary Riverwalk Park, which is about a 10-minute ride from the heart of Downtown.
