From downtown Des Moines, head to the nearest DART bus stop. Take the DART Route 5 towards 'Ames'. The bus ride will take approximately 40 minutes. Get off at the 'Ames Transit Agency' stop. From there, transfer to the CyRide Route 23, which goes directly to Iowa State University. Ride the bus until you reach the 'Reiman Gardens' stop. The gardens will be a short walk from the bus stop.
