From downtown, head south on the bike lanes along 3rd Street until you reach the intersection with Fleur Drive. Turn left onto Fleur Drive and continue heading south for about 1.5 miles until you reach Gray's Lake Park. There are bike racks available at the park for you to secure your bike.

For those who enjoy walking, you can start at the Des Moines Civic Center. Head south on 3rd Street, then turn right onto Locust Street. Continue walking straight until Locust turns into Fleur Drive. Follow Fleur Drive south for about 1.5 miles. Gray's Lake Park will be on your left at 2101 Fleur Dr. The walk will take approximately 30-40 minutes, depending on your pace.
