From nearby towns, such as Decorah or Prairie du Chien, take local roads to connect to IA-76 N. Follow IA-76 N until you reach the junction with State Forest Rd, then turn left. Follow State Forest Rd until you reach the entrance of Yellow River State Forest. Parking is available on-site, and there is no fee for entry.
