If you are starting from the Newton Public Library located at 100 N 3rd Ave E, head south on N 3rd Ave E towards E 1st St N. Turn left onto E 1st St N and continue straight for about 0.5 miles. You will reach the intersection with N 2nd Ave E. Turn right onto N 2nd Ave E and walk for another 0.3 miles until you reach E 12th St N. Turn left onto E 12th St N and continue for about 0.2 miles. You will see the Franklin Park Zoo on your right at 1 Franklin Park Rd.
