Getting There

• Walking

  If you are in downtown Newton, head towards the nearest bus stop and take Bus Route 1 towards Boston. Ride the bus until you reach the 'Newton Center' stop. From there, walk east on Washington Street towards the intersection with Commonwealth Avenue. Once you reach the intersection, turn right onto Commonwealth Avenue and continue walking until you reach the 'Boston' train station. From the station, take the MBTA Commuter Rail towards South Station. Once you arrive at South Station, transfer to the Red Line subway and travel towards Alewife. Get off at 'Park Street' station, then transfer to the Green Line towards Government Center. Get off at 'Haymarket' station. From Haymarket, walk towards the waterfront; follow the signs to Rowes Wharf. The Massachusetts Bay Lines is located at 60 Rowes Wharf, which is just a short walk from the harbor.

  Start at the nearest bus stop in Newton and take Bus Route 1 towards Boston. Travel to the 'Newton Center' stop, then catch the MBTA Commuter Rail at the Newton station to South Station. At South Station, switch to the Red Line subway and ride towards Alewife. Change trains at Park Street to the Green Line, heading towards Government Center. Disembark at Haymarket station. From there, proceed to Rowes Wharf by following the waterfront path, which will lead you directly to the Massachusetts Bay Lines at 60 Rowes Wharf.

  If you're feeling adventurous and want to bike, you can rent a bike from a local rental shop in Newton. Start by heading towards the Newton bike path that leads to the Charles River. Follow the river path towards Boston. Once you reach the city, continue on the path until you reach the waterfront area. Look for signs directing you to Rowes Wharf.
