From the center of Newton, head south on 1st Avenue S. Continue walking straight until you reach the intersection with E 12th Street N. Turn right onto E 12th Street N. Walk straight for about 10 minutes until you reach the train station. Take the nearest Amtrak train heading towards Chicago. Once you arrive in Chicago, transfer to a train or bus that heads to Boston. Upon arriving in Boston, take the subway (MBTA) from South Station to Aquarium station, which is a short walk from the New England Aquarium.

Rent a bike from a local bike rental shop in Newton. Start your journey by biking south on 1st Avenue S. Continue on this road until you reach E 12th Street N, then turn right. Follow this road to the train station and park your bike. Catch an Amtrak train towards Chicago. Once in Chicago, switch to a train or bus to Boston. Upon arrival, bike or walk to the New England Aquarium, located at 1 Central Wharf.

From the Newton Public Library, walk to the nearest bus stop on E 12th Street N. Take the local bus to the nearest Amtrak station. Board the Amtrak train bound for Chicago. After reaching Chicago, switch to a bus or train that goes to Boston. Once in Boston, use the subway (MBTA) from South Station and get off at Aquarium station. The New England Aquarium is a short walk from there.
