If you are starting from downtown Newton, head east on 1st Avenue W towards N 2nd Ave W. Walk straight for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with E 5th St N. Turn left onto E 5th St N and continue for about 0.3 miles. You will then reach the intersection with N 3rd Ave E. Turn right onto N 3rd Ave E and walk for another 0.2 miles. After that, take a left onto E 12th St N and follow it for a few blocks until you reach the junction with Highway 14. Cross the highway carefully at the designated crosswalk and follow the signs toward the highway exit leading to Concord. The Ralph Waldo Emerson House is about 25 miles from here.
