If you are starting from the Newton Public Library, head southeast on East 4th Street towards East 3rd Street. Continue on East 4th Street until you reach the corner of East 4th and East 1st Avenue. Turn left onto East 1st Avenue and follow it until you reach the intersection with East 3rd Street. Turn right onto East 3rd Street and continue straight until you reach the intersection with East 2nd Avenue. Turn left onto East 2nd Avenue, which will lead you towards the downtown area. Continue walking until you see Tremont Street. The Cathedral Church of Saint Paul will be on your right at 138 Tremont St.

From the Newton city center, head to the nearest bus stop located at Main Street and East 1st Avenue. Take Bus Route 1 towards Boston. Stay on the bus for approximately 20 minutes, and get off at the Downtown Crossing stop. Once you get off, walk northeast on Washington Street until you reach the intersection with Tremont Street. Turn left onto Tremont Street, and you will find The Cathedral Church of Saint Paul at 138 Tremont St on your left.
