Start at the Newton Public Library located at 100 N 3rd Ave E. Head east on E 1st St towards N 3rd Ave E. Continue walking for about 0.3 miles until you reach the intersection with N 2nd Ave E. Turn right on N 2nd Ave E and continue for another 0.2 miles to reach E 4th St. Turn left on E 4th St and walk straight for about 0.4 miles. You'll arrive at the Boston Common Visitors Center located at 139 Tremont St, Boston, MA 02111.
Bicycle
If you have access to a bicycle, start from the Newton City Hall at 101 W 4th St N. Ride southeast on W 4th St N towards N 2nd Ave E. Continue straight until you reach E 1st St, then turn left. Follow E 1st St for about 0.4 miles until you come to N 3rd Ave E. Turn right and continue for another 0.3 miles. When you reach E 4th St, turn left and keep going for approximately 0.4 miles. This route will take you to the Boston Common Visitors Center located at 139 Tremont St, Boston, MA 02111.
Public Transit
To reach the Boston Common Visitors Center using public transit, start at the Newton Transit Station located at 200 W 4th St N. Board the bus Route 5 heading towards Boston. After approximately 25 minutes, disembark at the Tremont St & Park St stop. From there, walk 0.1 miles east on Tremont St. The visitors center is located at 139 Tremont St, Boston, MA 02111.
