If you are starting from the Ottumwa Public Library located at 102 W 4th St, head west on 4th St toward Jefferson St. Continue straight for about 0.3 miles until you reach the intersection with Church St. Turn left onto Church St and walk for another 0.2 miles. You'll come to a bus stop at the intersection of Church St and Main St. Here, you can catch the Ottumwa Transit bus number 1 heading towards the East Side of Ottumwa. Ride the bus for approximately 15 minutes, getting off at the stop near the intersection of N Court St and E Main St. From there, walk east on E Main St for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with Cliffland Rd. Turn left onto Cliffland Rd and walk for about 1 mile. Garrison Rock Resource Management Unit will be on your right.

Starting from the Ottumwa City Park located at 200 S Court St, head south on Court St until you reach the intersection with W 2nd St. Turn right onto W 2nd St and continue until you reach the intersection with N Madison Ave. Turn left onto N Madison Ave and continue for about 1 mile. Then, turn right onto Cliffland Rd and bike for approximately 2 miles. The Garrison Rock Resource Management Unit will be on your left side just before you reach the address 6951 Cliffland Rd.
