From downtown Ottumwa, walk to the Ottumwa Transit bus stop at the intersection of East Main Street and South Market Street. Take the bus route towards Bloomfield. Inform the driver that you want to get off at the stop for US-63. Once you arrive at US-63, carefully cross the highway to the west side. Continue walking north on US-63 for about 0.5 miles. You will see signs for Pioneer Ridge on the right side. It is located at 1339 US-63, Bloomfield, IA 52537.

If you prefer biking, you can rent a bike from a local rental shop in Ottumwa. Start from the city center and head towards the south on South Market Street. Turn right onto East Main Street and follow it until you reach the intersection with US-63. Turn left onto US-63 and continue biking north for about 3 miles.
