    From Pikes Peak State Park, start by heading southeast on Pikes Peak Rd. Continue for approximately 2 miles until you reach the intersection with IA-26. Turn left onto IA-26 and follow it for about 6 miles. You will come to a T-intersection with a stop sign at IA-76. Turn right onto IA-76 and continue for about 3 miles. Look for the signs for Yellow River State Forest. Turn left onto State Forest Rd, and follow it for about 1 mile until you reach the entrance of Yellow River State Forest at 729 State Forest Rd, Harpers Ferry, IA 52146.
