From the intersection of South Lewis Boulevard and Morningside Avenue, head south on South Lewis Boulevard for approximately 1.5 miles. Prairie Park will be on your right, just past the wastewater treatment plant. The entrance is well-marked with a sign. There is no cost to enter the park.

Sioux City Transit Route 6 serves South Lewis Boulevard. From downtown Sioux City, take Route 6 towards Southern Hills Mall. Exit the bus at the stop closest to 3500 S Lewis Blvd. Walk south along Lewis Blvd for a short distance to the park entrance. A single ride fare is $1.75 [need citation].

From I-29, take exit 144 for Singing Hills Boulevard. Head east on Singing Hills Boulevard, then turn south onto South Lewis Boulevard. Continue for approximately 2 miles. Prairie Park will be on your right. Parking is available at the park entrance. There is no fee to park.
