Car/Taxi
From Erbil International Airport, the most convenient way to reach Korek Mountain Resort is by car or taxi. The journey covers approximately 100 kilometers and takes around 2 hours. Head northeast on Route 1 towards Khalifan. Once in Khalifan, follow signs to Korek Mountain Resort, about 10 kilometers uphill on a winding road. Expect to pay around 50,000 to 75,000 IQD for a taxi from Erbil. Parking at the resort is free.

Teleferic
Upon arrival at the base of Korek Mountain (TS Base in Bekhal), the final ascent to the resort is via the Korek Mountain cable car (teleferic). The 4 km ride takes about 12 minutes, offering panoramic views. The teleferic generally operates from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM, but it's essential to verify the timings with the resort due to potential weather-related changes. A cabin for emergency operation after hours will cost USD 50. A regular ticket price is not available.
