Walking
From the center of Amara, start at the main square near the Al-Hussein Mosque. Head southeast on Al-Mahmoudi Street towards the intersection with Al-Quds Street. Turn left onto Al-Quds Street and continue straight for about 1 kilometer. You will pass by several shops and cafes along the way. After reaching the end of Al-Quds Street, you will see a small park on your right. Continue straight onto the unpaved path leading towards نهر جاسم, which is located near the coordinates V527+HM9. Follow the path for about 500 meters until you reach the riverbank.

Public Transport
From the main bus station in Amara, take a local minibus heading towards Maysan. Inform the driver that you want to get off at the stop closest to نهر جاسم. The ride should take approximately 15-20 minutes. Once you disembark, walk towards the river by following the signs or asking locals for directions. The river is about a 10-minute walk from the bus stop.
